What to do with prolapse?

Types of Prolapse
1)    Bladder Prolapse (Cystocele), which is in the front wall of vagina.
2)    Rectal Prolapse (Rectocele), which occurs when the rectum protrudes into the vagina through its back wall. 
3)    Uterine Prolapse, occurs when the uterus drops into the vaginal canal and beyond.

Symptoms
•    Heavy dragging sensation in the vagina and lower back pain especially after a long working day
•    Urinary symptoms such as dribbling, poor stream, incomplete emptying, and recurrent urinary infections.
•    Interfering with sexual intercourse
•    Vaginal flatus which passing “wind” form vagina
•    Feeling a lump in the vagina

Treatment
Various treatments are available which include Inserting a vaginal ring, traditional  vaginal surgery, Mesh surgery. 
The most suitable method depends on the severity of prolapse also symptoms, age, desire to become pregnant and other factors which Dr Nada shall discuss with you.
